As a city, we’re dedicated to tackling fuel poverty and eradicating cold homes. Bristol City Council’s Energy Service is at the forefront of this work, delivering initiatives to help local people save energy and reduce their fuel bills.
We’re hosting an event to provide you with information, advice and guidance to help you take control of your energy bills, manage your finances, improve the energy efficiency of your home and meet representatives of key support services. We’re working with the National Energy Association (NEA) to ensure that this is a free event for residents of Bristol and beyond – a great opportunity to find out more about what we can do to reduce fuel poverty in your community.
We’ll have a variety of support organisations available to help on the day, including:
- Talking Money – Free, impartial finance and budgeting advice
- The Centre for Sustainable Energy – Information on reducing your heating and electricity bills
- Citizen’s Advice Bureau – Free advice for any issues you face
- Bristol Energy – A home-grown energy supplier with advice on getting the best deal on your energy
We’ll also have a host of talks from our partners to update you on the work that we’re doing to tackle fuel poverty across the city and beyond, as well as a chance to ask questions and feed into the discussion.
